Hotel101 has opened its first international establishment in Madrid, marking it as the first homegrown Filipino hotel brand to expand to Europe. The building boasts 680 rooms with an interesting feat of being Spain’s fifth largest hotel.
The establishment is part of Hotel101’s efforts to push condotel formats abroad, with each unit equipped with a kitchenette. The building includes amenities such as a business center, full-size gym, and swimming pools, while keeping the price affordable for a wide range of guests.
The branch is placed near the Ciudad Real Madrid training complex and the future site of the Formula 1 Madrid Grand Prix circuit, aligning well with the opportunities to house more people for major events.
The project is the beginning of many, as Hotel101 eyes expansions in Japan and California, with the goal of reaching 100 countries and expanding to 25 locations in the next three years.
