Online travel vloggers, famously known as “2 French in Manila,” shared publicly that their online storytelling journey has come to an end.
In a social media post, the vloggers shared that 2026 marks the end of their channel that explored Filipino food and culture and their deep love for their shared experiences in the Philippines.
The French duo, John Fisalbon and Nelson Jolivet, met in Paris and connected in their love of travelling. They started creating online content in 2017 as they bridged French and Filipino culture in every video they made. Eventually, their page grew to have 40,000 followers on YouTube and 70,000 followers on Facebook, becoming popular with a niche group that values love for food and travel in the Philippines.
While the pair said that they would love to continue their channel, they considered this end as an act of staying true to themselves and simply closing a chapter of their lives.
“Thank you to everyone who shared a table with us, a story, a laugh, a moment. This chapter ends here, but what it gave us will stay,” shares 2 French in Manila in the same post.
While they will be stopping their content production, their existing content on YouTube, Instagram, and their website remains as a homage to their adventure in the country.
