Art in the Park Returns for its 20th Year in Makati

Spread the love

Art in the Park is back this March, showcasing a selection of artworks from 55 exhibitors nationwide and celebrating 20 years of art gatherings and innovation.

Artists from various galleries, art collectives, independent art spaces, and student artists are converging for this one-day event.  Headlining the event are artists such as Charlie Co, Manny Garibay, Pepe Delfin, TRNZ, Clarence Chun, Bjorn Calleja, Carlo Tanseco, Demi Padua, Jomike Tejido, Marina Cruz, Anna Bautista, AR Manalo, Lynyrd Paras, and Robert Alejandro.

Emerging and established art collectives are taking the spotlight, including Archivo 1984, Art Underground, ArtBeat Collective, UP Artists’ Circle, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, and Urban Sketchers Manila.

These experimental artists not only aim to highlight their works but also further support the local art community, as the products remain affordable for interested buyers and enthusiasts looking for a painting to decorate their homes. With an advocacy supporting the Museum Foundation of the Philippines, the event will help fund projects that spotlight the country’s cultural and historical heritage.

Mix up the fun and explore, as food stalls and live music will also be available in the art grounds.

Catch Art in the Park on March 15 at the Jaime Velasquez Park, Salcedo Village in Makati and visit their official Facebook page for more information and updates.
