Get ready to fill your appetite for food and art as Maginhawa Arts and Food Festival makes its return, lighting up Quezon City with a street party this December.
Explore the renowned food and culture hub, and enjoy a free concert, a sunset rave, and a fireworks display as we welcome the holidays. Organized by the Maginhawa Food Community, the street festival features favorites from Maginhawa tastemakers, including brand-new art and food finds, while encouraging a day filled with exploration for visitors in this historic neighborhood.
The local government of Quezon City is holding the upcoming arts and food festival as part of the umbrella Maginhawa Festival, which happens twice a year: the Maginhawa Summer Fest in May, and the Maginhawa Arts and Food Festival in December.
The iconic Maginhawa Street in Quezon City is known as a hub for foodies and students from nearby universities who flock to the area to enjoy trending dishes, hole-in-the-wall finds, local favorites, and more. Visitors can also explore different art stalls, craft and decoration stores, and other shops and booths to look for gifts for the holiday season.
The event will also be graced with a soon-to-be-revealed lineup of up-and-coming artists. Last year’s Maginhawa Food Festival was attended by rising performers such as Dionela, Magiliw Street, ACT, Vanessa Mendoza, and Nicole Abuda, so this year is sure to be another crowdpleaser.
Since its first food festival back in 2014, which coincided with Quezon City’s 75th founding anniversary, Maginhawa Street has been bursting with the same energy for food, art, music, and community for the last 11 years.
