Casa Juan Manila Releases Collaboration with Multi-Awarded Artist Sansó

Spread the love

Casa Juan Manila just made the holidays a whole lot better with the help of the late renowned artist, Juvenal Sansó.

The homeware brand collaborated with Fundacion Sansó, a non-profit organization created to promote the legacy of the late artist, by showcasing his vibrant artworks as designs for their pieces. These limited edition products are a continuation of the brand’s initiative to feature local artists’ paintings in collections, which started in 2020.

Juvenal Sansó’s 70-year artistic journey is marked by a metamorphosis of styles that span from post-World War II to vibrant mid-20th-century themes. These designs are immortalized in homeware pieces ranging from decorative trays, salad plates, trinket plates, a jewelry box, and coasters, serving as perfect statement pieces or even gifts for the holiday season.

Aside from a long and storied history in the arts, Sansó was also known for his compassion, establishing Fundacion Sansó in 2014 to spearhead programs for scholarships and curatorial grants.

The Casa Juan Manila x Juvenal Sansó collection serves as an ode to the artist, who passed away last March 28 this year at the age of 95. His art, philanthropy, and dedication live on with his works and programs for Fundación Sansó.
