Duncan Macmillan’s acclaimed play, People, Places & Things, is getting a staged reading in the Philippines!
A winner of two Laurence Olivier Awards, the play follows Emma, a struggling actress who collapses while rehearsing for Chekhov’s play The Seagull. As the incident threatens her career, Emma checks into rehab to detox and return to acting. The story explores the unlikely parallels between theater and therapy, art and addiction, and how the need to escape real life can often lead to dire results.
