The newly reopened Pasig City Library might just become your next favorite spot. Now operating inside the brand-new Pasig Knowledge Center, the city’s modern five-story learning hub officially reopened its doors this year, offering a brighter, more spacious environment. Best of all, admission is completely free, and visitors don’t have to be Pasig residents to enjoy the facility.
Mayor Vico Sotto recently announced the soft opening of the Pasig Knowledge Center through his social media pages, giving the public a glimpse of the upgraded library and its improved amenities. Designed as a center for learning, productivity, and collaboration, the facility provides a welcoming space for anyone looking for a quiet environment to read, study, or get work done.
Visitors should note that the library’s books and reference materials are currently available for in-house reading only. Borrowing books to take home is not yet permitted, so readers are encouraged to enjoy the collection within the library while services continue to expand.
Getting inside is simple–the Pasig Knowledge Center is open to both Pasig residents and non-residents, with only a valid photo ID required upon entry for registration.
The library is open Monday to Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., making it an ideal destination for early birds, students preparing for exams, remote workers, and anyone seeking a productive space without spending a peso. Mayor Sotto also shared that the city is exploring the possibility of extending operating hours in the future, giving visitors even more flexibility.
