Trainers, get ready as the Pokémon 30th Anniversary Tour will be coming to Manila with exciting activities!
Starting off as a video game released in 1996, Pokémon has become a worldwide phenomenon, making hundreds of different fantastical creatures household names through trading card games, anime, manga, mobile apps, and more! As Pokémon commemorates its 30th anniversary in 2027, it will also tour around the world, bringing its celebration to fans everywhere.
The Pokémon 30th Anniversary Tour will heading to Manila on January 23 and 24, 2027. Fans can expect exciting activities that will surely satisfy the trainer in them, like Pokémon GO Integration, where attendees can play limited events, with exclusive Pokémon encounters and event-specific bonuses that can only be unlocked at the tour sites; Immersive Zones, which are interactive areas that showcase Pokémon history and areas to try upcoming Nintendo Switch titles; and Pokémon RUN 30, which is an interactive fun run where participants can play Gym Battles, meet Pokémon, and fill their Pokédex.
If you are a kabayan residing in other parts of Southeast Asia, you have a chance to catch the Pokémon tour this year! The immersive event will roll out in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on September 12 and 13, Taipei, Taiwan on October 10 and 11, Singapore on November 7 and 8. The last stop will be Bangkok, Thailand on February 13 and 14, 2027.
Alongside the regional tour is the highly anticipated Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration expansion set, which will be released globally on September 16 of this year. The set will feature all-foil cards, 30 different special Pikachu illustrations, and the debut of new “Futuristic” rare cards.
