Anne Hathaway goes full pop star for the psychological horror film Mother Mary, set to hit Philippine cinemas on April 22, 2026.
The Academy Award-winning actress stars as the titular Mother Mary—a singer planning her comeback tour in the concert scene. She reunites with her estranged best friend and former costume designer Sam Anselm (Michaela Coel), opening old wounds in the process.

Aside from Hathaway and Coel, the film also features Hunter Schafer, Atheena Frizzell, Kaia Gerber, Jessica Brown Findlay, Isaura Barbé-Brown, Alba Baptista, Sian Clifford, and FKA Twigs, making up a star-studded cast for the epic pop film.
Hathaway also co-wrote a song from the film’s original soundtrack, “Burial,” which she performed alongside Jack Antonoff, Charli XCX, and George Daniel, who all serve as co-producers on the track. Another song from the soundtrack is also set to drop, entitled “My Mouth Is Lonely For You” by FKA Twigs.
