The Ilonggo Entrepreneur Awards 2025 Exhibit showcases Ilonggo enterprises in an exhibit, featuring 120 years of entrepreneurship and excellence.
Organized by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce & Industry (PCCI), the event was led by Iloilo President Engr. Fulbert C. Woo, together with Vice President for External Affairs Mr. Noi Dongor, Directors Prince Celo and Renjo Debil, IEA Chairman Mr. Francis Gerona, and Exhibit Project Chair Mr. Marvin Chin.
The exhibit features different stories from Ilonggo entrepreneurs, their inspirations, innovations, and how they helped shape businesses and communities in the locale. With over a century of history, the Iloilo Chamber Movement highlights a legacy of leadership, innovation, and service worthy of celebration.
Mr. Johnny Que, a homegrown entrepreneur and the owner of the waffle kiosk “Waffle Time,” shared that being born in Iloilo helped him create a business built on the culture he was nurtured in. “Iloilo is in my blood. Iloilo is in the whole (business) of Waffle Time. We helped reforest 540 hectares of land in Northern Iloilo, and we helped a lot during Yolanda (typhoon),” Mr. Que shared in a video by the PCCI as he reflected how he grew his business to be a symbol of Iloilo pride, and how he gave back to the community in its time of need.
The exhibit will be open to the public until January 2026 at the Robinsons Place Jaro in Iloilo City. Visit the Ilonggo Entrepreneur Awards’ page to learn more about the exhibit.
