Spotify Wrapped 2025 is out! While everyone is checking out their streaming hours and songs on heavy rotation, the streaming platform also released a look back at the most-streamed OPM artists, groups, and songs who have made a mark this year.
Baguio-based Cup of Joe topped the charts for all three categories, claiming the Top Local Artist of 2025, Top Local Group of 2025, and Top Local Song of 2025 with their hit song “Multo.”
For the Top Artist list, December Avenue took the 2nd spot, with Arthur Nery in 3rd, Dionela in 4th, and TJ Monterde in 5th. For groups, December Avenue remains at the 2nd spot, followed by Ben&Ben in 3rd, Parokya ni Edgar in 4th, and Silent Sanctuary in 5th.
For the Top Local Songs, “Tibok” by Earl Agustin claimed the 2nd spot, with “Marilag” by Dionela in 3rd, “Sa Bawat Sandali” by Amiel Sol in 4th, and “My Day” by HELLMERRY in 5th.
This year also marks a significant achievement for Filipino music, with the first ever edition of the Filipino Music Awards by Billboard Philippines recognizing local musicians on a national stage. The awards program saw Cup of Joe emerging victorious, winning Album of the Year for Silakbo and Song of the Year for “Multo.” Another big winner that is not present in the Spotify year-end list is boy group SB19, who won Artist of the Year, People’s Choice Artist, Concert of the Year and Tour of the Year for Simula at Wakas, and Pop Song of the Year and People’s Choice Song for “Dungka!”
