In an era where art is often a drop in the sea of information overload, unlimited content, and endless reels, one masterpiece exhibit is swimming against the current in Quezon City.
This December, more than 270 artists from across the country will take out their credits for The No Name Show (TNNS)—an annual year-end exhibition by Gravity Art Space. This year’s edition centers on a single word: AMAT. Reversed, it becomes TAMA—the idea of truth and a return to clarity. Artists were invited to collaborate and create one unsigned work in response to the abstract prompt.
TNNS 5.0 invited artists to unburden themselves with the chains of being associated with their own art. By removing names from the equation, the exhibition cultivates a space where intuition is prioritized, allowing each piece to speak through form and collaboration.
“It is a collective field where intuition replaces identity, and where the act of making becomes a quiet form of revolution,” as described by Gravity Art Space in a statement.
TNNS 5.0 is set to open its doors on December 5 at the Gravity Art Space, Quezon City.
