QC Elevated Landscape Promenade Links Pedestrians with Nature

Spread the love

Quezon City just opened a new elevated walkway, connecting QCitizens with nature. Led by the Quezon City Government, the elevated promenade along the Elliptical Road serves as a vital link for the Quezon Memorial Circle (QMC) and the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center (NAPWC).

Designed by the Quezon City Government’s City Architect Department and constructed by the City Engineering Department, the bridge showcases abundant natural plants and panoramic views, perfect for enjoying the cityscape and nature.
The local government also partnered with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in developing walkways that are sustainable and pedestrian-friendly for visitors, bikers, or just passersby who want to enjoy a stroll.

The Quezon City Government continues its commitment to provide more green spaces and to promote leisure through wellness and environmental sustainability. Since the pandemic, the city has spearheaded various efforts ensuring the creation of a more sustainable city.
